Ben....did you know that the reason that ttyS0 (com1) is
defaulted to IRQ 4 and ttyS1 (com2) is defaulted to IRQ 3 by
virtually all BIOSes is so that when the modem is connected to
com2 (the original intent of the hardware designers was for com2
to be the modem port) will be scanned first therefore getting
hardware priority.  So the proper setup is mouse on ttyS0 and
modem on ttyS1.
