[expert] Printing problems

I don't seem to have a "parport_lowlelvel" module. I'm using a
custom-compiled kernel. Did I screw something up when I compiled it?
I *do* have a parport_probe.o, but that's it as far as the paralell
port devices go... I just want to be able to use my Canon BJC1000
printer....do I need to recompile the kernel?
