Hmm...you're on a MANDRAKE list, bitching about the
MANDRAKE kernel? Might I suggest you either grab a generic
kernel and make a new config from scratch (make clean, make
menuconfig/make xconfig, etc)
If you don't like the way Mandrake compiles their kernels,
then go ahead and switch to a different distro, but it's
kinda in poor taste to come asking on this list about a
distro to switch to from Mandrake!
