You have to remove realplayer rpm with the 'rpm -e RealPlayer'. Then you
can install it with the rpm -ivh RealPlayer-7_0-1_i386.rpm. The problem
that you have with rpm is that it looks in the rpm database to see what
is on your system. If you want to find out how good a shape the
installation is use the verify option for the package.
