Sorry if this is off topic. But my GDM gui login
refuses to let me login to any of my wms. When I
log in the screen goes blank and then the GDM
login returns. I changed tty's and killed the
GDM. I went back to the original tty and saw
something about authorization refused. I get
the same errors with xdm and kdm under either
root or as a user. The passwords work because
I can still login to my system. But now I have
to use the archaic startx command and manipulate
my Xclients file to get into my different WMs.
This is annoying and even more frustrating since
I'm not the most prolific Linux programmer.
Does anyone know what is going on? Thanx in advance.
