Just a hunch here, since I've experienced similar problems installing on an
Acer Travelmate 512, is your kernel trying to use frame buffers? Mine does,
and that's when it hurls. I haven't been able to find a full list of Lilo
parameters to see if it's possible to turn off the frame buffers. Anyone out
there know if this is possible?
