Alan, thanks for the input. I do, however, have several questions. What kind
of install of 7.0 did you perform? Was it a custom install, and did you set
up your mount pts in the disk utility provided during the install? Or did you
take the recommended install? I have done both to a new partition, as well as
doing a upgrade from 6.1 (yes this is the Linux version in the MacMillan
package). When I accepted "recommended" install, the "supermount" utility
caused some prolems, and when I performed "custom", KDE did not work. These
were full installs. My upgrade install worked the best. I just did not have
DrakConf.
