The bug deals with Mandrake 7.0 - 7.02 and some install issues with older
hardware. In particular some ps2 mice and an older TEAC atapi cdrom drive.
Both were recognized by older Mandrake distributions. In the more recent
7.0+ dists, the installer doesn't recognize some older mice and you have to
use the keyboard to install. This wouldn't be a problem except you have to
do a basic install because you can't choose the packages. And the 7.0 +
dists. have some problems initializing some older atapi cdroms. It just
hangs when you boot the disk and the autoboot doesn't always work for the
install. If you have more recent hardware, this shouldn't be an issue. Good
Luck.
