This is linux development. Shut up and work on the problem. Have you
gone to www.kernelnotes.org and checked the list of all the software
updates that you need to compile the 2.3 kernels? If not I suggest that
you do those updates first and then try recompiling. Also I have not
been able to compile 2.3.99-pre2 either but I did it with Mandrake 7.0
install and not my redhat 6.2beta development system which I have
updated as described above. Do not have time until next week to mess
with it anymore. But I'll post it here if I have any success.
