[expert] update utility?

For some reason, when I installed Mandrake 7.02 I didn't get the update
utility on my desktop.  I had in when I used 6.1.  How can I get this
utility back?  I'm certain it isn't installed on my system because when I
open other X-windows, the update utility icon is on the desktop, but
doesn't work when I click on it.  In some cases, when I click on it, I get
the "what would you like to open this with?" query.  What is the update
utility program (rpm) called so I can install it?
