I still can't get licq-0.80 to work! arrrggggg!
I found qt21-2.0.99.19991220-1mdk.i586.rpm and
also found qt-2.1.0.19991128-1.i586.rpm tried both
with latest licq-0.80-1.i386 and licq-data-1.6-1.noarch.rpm
and still can't get to work...
here is the ERROR message I got:
[ERR] Unable to load plugin (/usr/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so):
/usr/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so: undefined symbol: size
Hint_C11QMainWindow.
Then I downloaded tha latest tar and try to compile it myself...
./configure goes all the way... no problem, than make or make install
complains about missing qt library (?)
If I try the qt rpm file for red hat then I got I lot of dependency
problems
yeah tries to replace the qt-1-4 ;-)
so what is left to try... ANY hint in the right direction is Greatly
appreciated!
Or does anybody who's got licq working would like to share your rpms or
tar files?
I downloaded directly from graham's site http://www.licq.org
and the qt libraries from rpmfind.net TIA
