2.2.14-1mdklinus is the kernel that's released by Linus with no patches
from Mandrake.
the 2.2.14-15mdk is already installed (I think). look in the /boot you
should the 2.2.14-15mdk there.

if you want to boot to the 2.2.14-15mdk kernel you need to change LILO
add this kernel as one of the images like this :

image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.14.15mdk
        label=linux-2.2.14
        root=/dev/hda6 <--------- or whatever your partition is
        read-only

this is in addition to your original lilo.conf .
don't forget to run lilo after editing /etc/lilo.conf
