How? Over Samba?

Though the mode of configuration is different, I still think the problem is the
same -- the print server itself has not yet been set up for SMB support. It needs a
NetBIOS name, or it won't appear to Windows clients (I have seen this problem
before).

What was the model number of the printserver again?
