hi,
got a problem with RPC and mounting NFS-filesystems after updating from
mandrake 6.1 to mandrake 7
can ping, ssh-login, but trying to do a mount -a some exported NFS-filesystems
from my 2nd linuxbox (also mandrake 7.0) results in mount: RPC: Program not
registered.
Now I've installed mandrake 7.0 also on my lap - and the same result.
Well, whats going wrong with RPC ?
Have 2 PC's and 1 lap - all with mandrake 7.0 and none of them is able to get a
NFS-contact. But : so I wrote above : ping and ssh is possible with all 3
linuxboxes.
My 2nd. problem after updating I got :
calling DrakConf and herein calling Linuxconf shows the lookalike of
linuxconf with no X-Support.
Now I've seen, that the messages appears during startup :
libnewt.so.50 could not be opened.
Now - what can I do here ?
Is anyone able to help in solving that "problems" ?
I know, there exists a little program, so I can take a look on used libraries,
which are called through any programs, even like linxconf. Does anyone know,
what is the name of this function or little program ?
Thanks in advance for help
bye
