Hmm.  Wouldn't it just be easier to use that very sendmail daemon to send
directly to people?

For example,

From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To:   [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: I love using sendmail (nt)

would just be sent by sendmail itself to server.com directly, with no need
for a different SMTP server.

Wouldn't that solve your problems?
