Hi ! My new questions are: 1.) Which group I have to add myself to be able to use my modem without loging into the root account. On Debian I used the gpasswd -a user dialout But on Md and RH I found the pppusers and dip. I tried these but I'm still unable to use kppp like a normal user. 2.) On mandrake how could I do the thing like dpkg --set-selections ? If I have a well selected package list I could use it at install time to select these packs and deselect the others.
