I just installed mandrake 7.0. Then I installed an old version of
maple (mapleV R3, circa 1996), a tool for doing math on the computer.
When I try to run maple I get

[root@ludwig bin]# ./maple
./maple: /usr/local/maple/bin/mapleV: cannot execute binary file
./maple: /usr/local/maple/bin/mapleV: Exec format error

I get this same error with caldera 2.3 and redhat 6.2. It runs
fine in Suse 6.3 & redhat 6.0.
But I really like Mandrake and would rather not go back to Suse.
Then again, I've got to have maple, & I cant afford to upgrade maple
to a newer version ($600).

Any ideas? I have not recompiled my kernel or anything.

Thanx,
Art.
