Hi Brian,
am sorry about I have to correct you a little bit. Because, can you remeber,
that in the install-procedure there is a question about using nfs ? If so,
then I think, it would be self-evident to start the nfs-daemon. Or which step
should be between this question about having nfs and starting nfs ?

For shure, I only a human, and can be wrong, but isn't it possible, that there
is indeed a real missing idea, if anyone will have the nfs-service, that
there should also be started the nfs-daemon ?

Or what are YOU thinking about ? I'm really interested in looking forward,
which steps should be there in thought, before starting the daemon also. Maybe,
I have failed to notice something ?

Thanks for your ideas

bye Hans Schneidhofer
