@home is about THE worst service out there, not by speed, but by their way
of running the service. They change the T.O.S. at will and are complete
nazis about any kind of server you may run. Even game servers. Basically
their terms are this "Unlimited usage of our service for $39.95, but don't
use if for ANYTHING or be ghestapoe style 'offered' our atrocity of a
buinsess plan."
I feel sorry for all @home users. Luckily in most areas that @home is, you
can get DSL. I highly recomending going that route.
BTW, their 'buisness plan' they make you take, or be banned for life should
you run any kind of server thinkable (even napster!) , is $995 setup and
$439/mo for 5mb downstream and 256k up stream. That is just sick.
