[expert] compiling qt-2.0.2 : lstdc++ can't be found??

when using the rpm --rebuild, I received the message
ld: cannont open -lstdc++ : no such file or directory

and I check my libraries and I have libstdc++.so.X.Y.Z, so I then ran ld
-p to print the libraries configured and they appeared, so what am I
doing wrong???

Note: I also did this by extracting the source, same thing :(
