With Kppp I had to add a Gateway address in the setup to
surf. With my ISP my Gateway is the same as my IP. In Win
I typed winipcfg, took the value and plugged it in Kppp.
Still I cant surf as other than root. I am about ready to
reinstall pppd from 6.1, it worked without all the
hassle.

OK, this works, but only under root. I can't do it as another user.

Well, I can't surf. I tried commenting the lines as you say, and also
tried adding my ISPs nameserver and DNS number. Nothing goes.
Any other ideas?
