Wayne, try telnetting to port 25 your IP address....

It would be like this 

telnet 205.287.45.3 25

If you get no response, your sendmail SMTP server is not responding.....


(Assuming you are firing it up at start-up)

Also try /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart (or status)

See what happens and check your logs......
