You did not say which distribution of Mandrake you are using, but I can
guess 6.0.

There is a patch for Netscape on Mandrakes site that will take care of the
problem.

I too HOWEVER, have a problem with an OS that allows a program to
completely render useless a system resource (i.e. TCP/IP). That is a
SERIOUS bug in the OS. It is my understanding that the BSD TCP/IP structure
has been brought over into the 7.0 distribution, I may be wrong.
