Try
the complete version of that command:
#
mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy -t fstype
change
fstype with the correct type. I.e: ext2, msdos, vfat, iso9660
......
If
this works you need to edit your /etc/fstab file.

out 'man fstab'
