O.K., before you run out & buy the Linux version, you *can* run the windows
version in Linux. Just dload the latest *Linux* point release from Blues
News or planetquake.com & run it by entering "./linuxq3apoint-1.17.x86.run"
in the directory it's in. Then link to or copy PAK0PK3 from /baseq3 in
windows-->/baseq3 Linux, or copy it off the CDROM (linking to it works fine
(in W98, YMMV with NT)).
BTW, Q]I[ runs much better in windows....
