Before I go into detail about the problem I am having with mod_auth_mysql and Apache on my Mandrake 7.0 server, I just though I'd check and see if anyone is familiar with this mod (allowing .htaccess files to use a MySQL database for authentication, etc). The mod can be found here: http://bourbon.netvision.net.il/mysql/mod_auth_mysql/ If anyone is currently using this on a Mandrake box let me know -- I can get the module to build and install, but when a user authenticates my Apache server seg faults on me.. [Wed May 24 18:01:27 2000] [notice] SIGHUP received. Attempting to restart [Wed May 24 18:01:27 2000] [notice] Apache/1.3.12 (Unix) AuthMySQL/2.20 PHP/4.0.0 configured -- resuming normal operations [Wed May 24 18:07:50 2000] [notice] child pid 27063 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) [Wed May 24 18:07:50 2000] [notice] child pid 27060 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) [Wed May 24 18:08:19 2000] [notice] child pid 27062 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) [Wed May 24 18:08:20 2000] [notice] child pid 27061 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) Anyways -- if anyone has any ideas why this might be, please drop me a line. I have the same mod working on a RedHat 6.x machine and I am trying to figure out where the difference lies that could be causing this crash. Thanks in advance to anyone who lends a hand. -- Jon Changnon, Director of Operations e: [EMAIL PROTECTED] p: 440.951.9525 http://www.dncc.net
