Cooker is for building the next distro--sort-of a place to exchange packages
and techniques and discuss merits of packages.

Frequently you can find better software through cooker than what is in your
current distro. licq was a good example for those who had 7.0-2 and had
problems with long lines being corrupted if shifted characters were in them.
Of course, when a version is frozen, the work is on beta bugs, and then after
most of those have been cleared, there is work on other architectures (Sparc,
Alpha, 486), and cooker is always looking for more space on mirrors.
