I am trying to compile PGP 5.0 under Mandrake 7.0 (to fix a recently discovered bug) and get the following error:

  pgpRndPool.c: In function 'pgpRandPoolAddEntropy':
  pgpRndPool.c:     Invalid 'asm' statement:
pgpRndPool.c:     fixed or forbidden register 0 (ax) was spilled for class AREG.

I have compiled the PGP 5.0 source under previous versions of Mandrake (and other other flavors of Linux) and never had any problems.  I think it may be a compiler bug or related to one of the compiler options.  I've tried changing several of the options, but nothing seems to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jeff
