The June/July 2000 edittion of Maximum Linux magazine has an article
about PDA's and they mention that a subsidy of Samsung has one. Gmate
(http://www.gmate.co.kr) makes Yopy, whcih is designed from the ground-up
for Linux. The picture and info I have of it is pretty impressive. Maximum
Linux has an entire article (2nd in a series) this month about choosing
PDA's.
