SBLive's latest snapshots are at:
http://opensource.creative.com

Look for a link to their ftp site where you can download emu10K snapshots.
The latest ones are nifty with MANY options in the mixer. They aren't hard
to install and while I haven't installed them in Mandrake yet, I've done it
MANY times in Redhat. I just installed Mandrake 2 nights ago and haven't
had any time to work with it. Just got my video up and running so sound is
next. Anyway, the instructions for installing the emu10k module are in the
tar.gz file that you download under the "docs" directory if I remember
correctly. Hope this helps.

Matt

Try "modprobe emu10k" and it should work. You should edit also
/etc/conf.modules to have a line "sound: emu10k".
