John & Seve....actually, after I re-read the message I was
responding to I realized that it's not quite as simple as I
indicated. If you're in console mode then the command
drakxconf will launch the console program that works and acts
like the old setup program. But if you're in a console window
then drakxconf will put you into a gui version of that program
running in its own window on your desktop.
