Because, from my experience, the KDE & Qt people are the only ones really
using one Widget-Set and they keep a standard while doing so. If you look
at Windows xx, they impose their own standards (not open), and gnome uses
so many different approaches & programming languages, that both are very
resource hungry. If you have tried the KDE2 packages, you'll notice that a
lot has been done for speed improvement and a light environement. This is
what I call improved Technology. If any of the KDE developers reads this,
