It just seems rather lame (and like a certain other company *cough*) to be
forced to upgrade to something from a newer version of the OS because of
preexisting security issues. :) If you used the MandrakeUpdate utility as
intended and didn't really have time to follow the news, it would have
been quite easy to miss these large security holes, which makes
MandrakeUpdate rather worthless.
Oh well... At least I've got a copy of mandrake 7.1 coming in the mail...
