YES!! they are looking real good. You can get them from www.kde.org and
they have actual mandrake rpms. If you follow the links from the page they
also tell you how you can run both kde1.x and kde2 on the same box. Color
is vibrant. It feels smother and faster. I found the following
frustrations. ssl has to be installed. It can never find /usr/bin/perl
even though it's on your box. (do a --nodeps) otherwise it's definately
headed in the right direction. It even crashes when you try to exit and
tells you that the program has created a problem and you need to close the
program just like windows hehe. (I sent in the bug report.) :) If you've
got the space to spare it's worth looking at but for now I'd recommend the
dual session method as it does tend to be a little quirky. But everything
runs!
