If you either enable encrypted passwords in Samba, or enabled cleartext in NT you can use Samba to browse the shares on your domain.
 
For this to work you have to point Samba to the Domain Controller for authentication in /etc/smb.conf.
 
Once done try a login using the smbclient program.
 
If it does not accept the login, then you have not set up Samba Users and Passwords properly...
 
see: smbadduser, smbpasswd
 
Once Samba can see the shares, you can use any of the Gui tools to "browse" the NT domain...
