Hello.

I think I will start with the answer first and thank all who helped me
out. I was having trouble with the backspace key not working and one
chap suggested the thing was broken. A real possibility as my temper at
three am with a backspace key isn' t the best. another suggested to use
xf68config. neither availed. then I did:

locate keytable
then
less /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S75keytable

well reading the code (of which I am not good) i concluded that I should
edit /etc/sysconfig/keyboard to read as follows:

line 2: BACKSPACE=BackSpace

easy enough. I hope this helps some others that are having the same
problem.

Now my qusetion:

if you do:

fsck /dev/hda1 -c -l <filename>

what is the filename that should be inserted? or is this file created
with the -L option?

Thanks,

Ivan
