Try /dev/sr0 instead. The CD-PLAYER is /dev/scD0, the BURNER is going
to be /dev/sR0 (caps for emphasis only.)
OTOH, When I installed RH6.2 on my current system, I had the burner
already installed and it automatically works as /dev/cdrom. *shrug*
