Hey there,
My girlfriend's doing an internship at UW-Madison this summer and, as she's
staying in the dorms, I figured I'd give her my computer so she could access
email and everything while she's not at work (ok, so I just wanted to go
visit and download things at extremely fast speeds ;) ). Anyway, I went and
set up the machine, everything was working fine.
Now, however, when she attempts to log in she receives the following
message:
startup program /etc/X11/xdm/GiveConsole exited with non-zero status
Anyone able to tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
