Daniel,
I use Pine. It's light, fast and easy to use and configure. To get you
mail from the server is a snap. I use "fetchmail" to retrieve the mail,
postfix works in the background to deliver the mail and sendmail sends it
out. Very much faster than Netscape Messenger and it will do everything
that all the other GUI mail programs do.
