There is plenty of doco up there. Forgive me but your question sounds like
"I got a computer with no operating system, what do I do with it." VMWare
is simply a tool to get another operating system running under Linux or NT
(This message is being composed in W98 under VMWare for Linux). You have to
have install disks for whatever you want to install: BSD, NT, 2000, 98, 95,
MSDOS, Linux, etc.
