I see what you mean... I did just read a message on this list a day or
so ago saying that someone was using jdk 1.3 from an ibm dev site?
Maybe you could give that a try? There's really no contest at this
point - I think Linux is better under the hood, but Windows still has
better support for that 'eye candy' type stuff.
