Has anyone got a Adaptec AVA1505/1515 SCSI Adapter Card (jumpers set
to port 0x340 and interrupt 9) working under Linux Mandrake 7.0 or
7.1?
If so tell me:
What lilo append string do you use?
What entries in/etc/conf.modules, or elsewhere?
What should appear in /var/log/messages?
Our fruitless attempts so far:
/etc/lilo.conf:
( Template:
aha152x=<IOPORT>[,<IRQ>[,<SCSI-ID>[,<RECONNECT>[,<PARITY>[,<SYNCHRONOUS>[,<DELAY>
[,<EXT_TRANS]]]]]]] )
append="aha152x=0x340,09,7,1,1,0,100,0"
append="aha152x=0x340,09"
and run lilo as root. We have also tried interrupt 10 on the card
and the append.
conf.modules:
scsi_hostadapter aha152x
Whatever we do, the kernel seems to continue not to recognise the
card, and not give us any helpful error messages.
