Basically it works like the old ftp, but in addition it supports name completion and wildcards. It also can save bookmarks. These features make it much eaysier to use than the original ftp command. Klaus P.S.: If you still prefer plain old ftp, I think in Mandrake 7.1 it comes with ftp-0.10-8mdk.rpm.
