Vincent, I am having a similar problem with the fixes. What I found is that the boot disk image doesn't fit in the diskette. After giving the command: "dd if=cdrom-aic7xxx.img of=/dev/fd0" I received an error message that said "No space left on device" so the image is bigger than the diskette. I have asked if someone knows something about it and I haven't received any reply. If you find a solution I will appreciate if you let me know. Either if I find something I will let you know. Thanks in advance, Alejandro Arredondo --- Vincent Danen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: >On Sun, Aug 06, 2000 at 06:35:30PM +0200, Robert Fox wrote: > >> From this page: http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/heliumlast.php3 >> >> I downloaded the Adaptec patch images and crated the boot disks.
