hi gang !
get this :
1 mandrake machine shares a directory via samba on my lan.
when i try to mount it from my laptop, it mount's ok, but if i try to
copy\delete\change a file in that share, the server (that hold's the
share) freezes, the monitor shut's down, and the only way out is to
reboot(!) the machine.
the share is rw and i am logged as root on both machines.
all the filesystems are ext2 on both machines.
the share is for the main directory / .
any idea's ?
