I don't follow this. An ISO image should be a usable disk.
Do you mean that that disk contains a single file, which is the ISO
image file? That must be what you mean.
No idea how to do it in kisocd, but this will do it for you in the
shell:
cdrecord dev=0,0 speed=4 iso-image-file-name
dev=0,0 is usually right, but if you have a real SCSI setup it might not
be.
speed=4 is usually safe; a few folks can get even faster, more would
need speed=2 or even speed=1.
The problem you are having, I would guess, is that kisocd is mean to
make an ISO image out of files (an ISO image being what has to go on a
disk for it to be usable); if you give it a pre-made ISO image, it makes
an ISO image out of that, effectively double-encoding it. You could
probably use the loopback device on the ISO image to get to the files if
you really wanted . . .
Most CD-writing GUIs will have a way to tell them that you have a
pre-configured image file; perhaps kisocd has such a thing?
