hallo MANDRAKE! the following problem: with mandrake 7.1, once in a while (2 times a month maybe) syslogd goes crazy.. some minutes after the daily crond work (the preconfigured scripts) syslogd restarts for a hundred or so times (maybe more, the /var/log/messages is some 30 k bigger afterwards)... does someone else experience the same or can someone imagine why syslogd is behaving like that?
