I bought a bunch of stuff at a yard sale...some older mobo's, various PCI and
ISA cards, etc...it's pretty old, but so far all the bit are working. However,
I have card marked AVA - 1505/1515 from Adaptec, Inc that I'm having a little
trouble finding specs for. It's got an onboard bios,an chip marked
AIC-63600, 25 pin external female/25 pin internal cable connector. Adaptec's
site has some confusing information on anything marked 1505/1515 and they have
no e-mail addy's unless you have a TSID(Technical Support ID)....this card was
made in 1993 and if it is a usable scsi adapter...has anyone on the list ever
heard of this card? and does anyone have this card? I'm afraid it is some
inbred OEM mongrel...what can you expect for 75lbs of computer hardware for $10?
Oh yeah, it appears to be PCI.
