You didn't say: SCSI or IDE  ???

For SCSI, I don't know ...

For IDE, no patch whatsoever is needed AFAIK: big disk support
has been corrected at (I believe) 2.2.14
Since Mandrake 7.1 is based on 2.2.16 it should work.


Now, _booting_ is something else ... lilo uses BIOS calls
to load the kernel, so you have to make sure that your
BIOS correctly sees the disk.
