I'm attempting to install LM 7.1 on a Cyrix 180mHz machine...as I am using an
old monitor of unknown spec's, I cannot config X and will just use it as a text
only device. Anyhow to avoid the waste of space on this machine X would be, I
chose "custom" installation...everything runs fine up until the point where you
choose the mount points (hda1, 5, 6, 8 on mine) and it will accept no input
from the keyboard except from the TAB and ENTER keys, which does no good.
switching (Ctrl+Alt+F1, etc) proves the keyboard to be functional...There is
nothing unusual to be noticed and no errors(except for it not detecting a zip
drive but there isn't one anyhow)...the last message is in regards to my scsi
interface. Everything is normal except I can't assign /, /home, or /usr because
of this. Is there a known bug in the text install that I am missing on the
sites?

As a side note: rpmfind.net (USA) finally has the 7.2beta ISO "chunk" image on
the site...I think this is relatively new as www.linux-mandrake.com listed a
french site and a swedish site. But today one of the two is now ftp.rpmfind.net
(USA). I tried to download(cable at >200KB/S from rpmfind.net normally) them
today and it was telling me "permission denied". Anyone else run across this
yet? I've been waiting for a USA server to host it...
